You don’t get to choose how you’re going to die. Or when.
You can only decide how you’re going to live. Now.

Dear Autumn Enthusiasts,
As we welcome October, we’re still embracing unseasonably warm and beautiful autumn days that gracefully transition into crisp nights. The aspens and tamaracks are finally turning, painting our surroundings in shades of gold and amber—what a breathtaking backdrop for the season!
With the spooky season upon us, I can’t help but feel the urge to pull my cauldron out of the closet and mix up some magic! It’s the perfect time to gather around and share tales of mystery and wonder. Speaking of tales, I’m having a delightful dilemma in choosing which book to re-read this month. They’re all fantastic, so I’ll just have to share them all!
Join Us for Halloween Fun! 🎃
Mark your calendars! On Halloween, swing by the office at 480 Electric Ave in Bigfork from 4:30 to 6:30 PM for trick-or-treats and adult libations. I love the little ghouls and goblins, but remember, crowds can make me a little batty! I’ll be here to greet you when the doors open for the little hooligans, but I might not stick around for long—so come see me early!
Tamarack Days was a hit! John and I had a blast judging the casserole category…check out my photos, I won first place in the appetizer category with my Crispy Cheese Wafers🥇 – I’ll share my recipe next month so stay tuned! And here’s to the lovely Casserole Queens, Tara and Shelley! Who knew there were so many creative ways to dish up comfort food?! Thanks to everyone who participated; your culinary skills truly impressed us!
While our local real estate market is experiencing a slowdown, there are promising developments in mortgage rates that make this a worthwhile time to consider investing. As Warren Buffett wisely noted, “Be fearful when others are greedy and greedy when others are fearful.” This sentiment is a guiding principle for me as I navigate these changing tides.
I’m here to support you every step of the way in your real estate journey, whether you’re looking to buy your dream home or sell your current property. My extensive understanding of the local market, paired with my commitment to working closely with buyers’ agents under the new NAR guidelines, guarantees a smooth and transparent process. With a track record of successfully selling over 85% of my listings each year, partnering with me greatly increases your chances of a successful sale. My primary focus is to ensure you navigate this experience with confidence, professionalism, and a friendly touch.
Here’s to cozy evenings, spooky stories, and the vibrant colors of fall! Let’s make this season magical together….and don’t forget the time change which is coming up in a couple of weeks!
Warmly,
Denise
P.S. Don’t forget to swing by the office on Halloween—I can’t wait to see all your creative costumes! 👻👽

TESTIMONIAL
We have all heard it said that there are no ‘perfect relationships.’ No industry exemplifies this better than that in the world of real estate.
A real estate professional can’t control the market – i.e. availability, interest rates, CPI, etc. But then we encountered Denise Lang.
Now, we wouldn’t say that Denise is a control freak, but she surely is in control of excellent pinpoint marketing tactics, knowledge of real estate law (especially in her territorial market), connections, trends, the current market, work ethic, professionalism, communication skills, follow through, and her keen sense of humor…to name a few.
Come to think of it, it might be a good idea to have a control expert, if you are so fortunate to find one (her number is 406-249-1758).
For many years we have noticed Denise’s billboards – and thought “how does she do that?” But again, that was one of her brilliant marketing schemes. But we thought “who would ever use that person?” But then, as fate would have it, we had more than one property to sell, so we took the bait and somersaulted into her office and she welcomed us while chalking her palms, having just closed a deal.
From that point on, Denise really wowed us, grabbing our attention with her enthusiasm, marketing skills, and ability to showcase our properties in their best light, resulting in two sales in 30 days! In today’s market, this might sound unrealistic, but she continuously followed up and strategized with us through closing.
Therefore, our advice is, let Denise be in control of your real estate needs.
With gratitude, a very happy Catherine and Jack
CERI'S CORNER: HEALTH ADVICE
-Why Do Dogs Sigh?
Have you ever noticed your dog let out a big sigh before flopping down on the couch? You might think she had a tough day, but chances are, she’s just expressing some good vibes! At the end of a busy day when I let out a big sigh before curling up on the couch, it’s like I’m saying, “Ahhh, finally!”
When I sigh, it’s my way of settling in and letting Denise, John and Odin know I’m ready for a cozy nap. It’s not that I had a rough day—trust me, my days are filled with good naps and plenty of play! That sigh is more about pure bliss. You see, it’s a long, deep exhale, and it usually happens right before I snuggle into my favorite spot.
When they hear me sigh and see my eyes half-closed, it means I’m super content. I’m relaxed, happy, and ready to drift off into dreamland. But if I let out a sigh with my eyes wide open, it could mean I’m a little disappointed—like when mom says “no” to extra treats!
Sighing, alongside my barks and wags, is just one of the ways I communicate with my hoomans. Here’s a great article form our friends at Daily Paws that elaborates on this communication method. So the next time your buddy lets out that big breath, remember: he’s probably just getting cozy, feeling grateful to be by your side, and preparing for a well-deserved snooze.
Until next time, keep those belly rubs coming!
